This week I want to pay tribute to my client's late father.
Selling a home can be a really emotional experience, but selling a family members' home that has recently passed is more difficult.
This past year I helped Todd and his wife Tiffany purchased a home in Bellaire and I was surprised to get a call a couple of months later asking for real estate help once again. Unfortunately, this time, he had to sell his late father's townhome in Conroe.
As a realtor, I build deep connections with my clients and their families. So when I heard the news of his loss, I felt his pain and knew this would be a challenging time. Settling a parent's estate while grieving is both physically and emotionally taxing, so my main goal was to make this sale process as stress-free as humanly possible.
Getting to know Todd through hearing stories about his dad and their relationship was not only extraordinarily impactful but was a privilege.
When the closing day came this past Monday, we did our best to commemorate his late father by bringing his favorite gin and tonic and a photo of the home.
There is absolutely no way I can take away his pain, but I'm thankful I was able to help in the best way I could.
Please join us in sending love and prayers to the Thoman family!
